EDC Developer II - USA
We are currently in search of a full-time EDC Developer II to join our team. This person will report to the Senior Manager, EDC Development. This position is a remote, work from home opportunity.
The qualified individual will apply standards for eCRF programming and edit checks as per study specific protocols/eCRFs. This position involves more advanced programming and problem solving of clinical study trials.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining study documentation for the project files surrounding programming of clinical databases
- Reviewing study-specific protocols and annotated CRFs
- eCRF programming
- Edit check programming
- Annotation of eCRFs
- Implementing Export Templates for EDC data extraction
- Participating in peer-review testing of other Developers’ implementations
- Generating test scripts
- Performing mid-study changes on live databases
- Creating client script functions
Qualifications:
- Must have EDC programming experience in TrialMaster, preferably V5.0 and/or V5.1 [TrialMaster is the product of Anju Software (formerly OmniComm)]
- Experience completing EDC database builds and mid-study changes on multiple studies
- Experience performing complex programming tasks to include client script functions, custom export template programming, etc.
- Experience with application of a programming language/languages
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Team player with ability to learn new things such as new programming languages, technologies and tools that will facilitate the clinical trial process
- Capability to understand and adopt basic to moderate programming techniques
- Ability to work well with technical and clinical team members to collaborate with entire clinical team (DMs, PM, CRAs, Safety, Biostats, etc.) and maintain positive and open relations with internal, sponsor and vendor team members
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment while maintaining high quality outputs
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficient
